Within my Healing Hut I have a lot of different crystals. They each offer a unique feel to the room, and I sometimes decide to offer one or other to be felt during a treatment.
I also had all these (pictured) put into the ground when building the Hut. The first and most important was to have the Rose Quartz, this crystal is all about unconditional love. I find its value mainly in promoting self love, which is often one of the hardest for us to connect and feel. I really want all my clients to feel worthy of self love, compassionate within and to fully embrace and accept themselves. I hope that this crystal brings all that into each treatment given in the Healing Hut. There are also several others mainly the Amythest which is a natural tranquiliser, it relieves stress and strain, soothes irritability, balances mood swings, dispels anger, rage, fear and anxiety. Also Black Onyx for protection, quartz for clearing and cleansing – there are so many smaller tumble stones which all have wonderful healing properties to enhance the healing within the hut.
When I was a child one of my teachers taught me about Tutankhamun and ancient Egypt and I was totally mesmerised. Especially with Lapis Lazuli, the vibrant blue stone captured my imagination and I have never forgotten that lesson some 42 years later!!
Lapis Lazuli – The Sumerians believed that the spirit of their gods lived within the stone, while the ancient Egyptians saw it as a symbol of the night sky. Since the earliest of times, lapis lazuli has been associated with strength and courage, royalty and wisdom, intellect and truth.
It took me years to find out why I have always resonated with this stone, I love honest conversation and I used to be intelligent (a few cells have been lost along the way!!). Definitely strong and courageous – but not so sure about Royalty. Some might say there have been a couple of wise words emanating from me but who knows! What is your favourite crystal and why?
