SBS Winner

The ART of Healing is a small business sunday winner!! Here is my press release:

Farnborough‐based Complementary Therapy business The ART of Healing collects Small Business Sunday Award from Theo Paphitis

A Farnborough‐based hands on complementary therapy business has collected their Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday award from the former Dragons Den star. The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 3,000 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Every year, he brings together the winners at the SBS Event at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham. The event gives winners the opportunity to network with other like-minded small businesses, listen to keynote speakers and to collect their awards from the man himself. The main attraction this year was Theo’s fireside chat with Formula 1 Superstar & Entrepreneur Mark Blundell.

Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed Shopkeeper, Theo re‐tweeted The ART of Healing’s message to his almost 500,000 followers and as a result, The ART of Healing has raised their profile and increased their potential audience beyond their traditional market of local Farnborough clients. They are also profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

Amanda Riley said, “I have been in business since 2008, but with Covid, Cost of living crisis and a recent move to Farnborough, support from Theo Paphitis gives me the extra boost I need to help others.   I offer Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and other therapies to a very high professional standard.   My focus is on helping others to express their emotions in a safe and gentle space within my Healing Hut in Guildford Road West, using hands-on therapies to create a deeper sense of peace.   I am passionate about helping others and have volunteered with a number of charities and within hospitals over the years, in the UK, Malawi and Bosnia”

Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.  My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish The ART of Healing every success.”
